Well, if you do decide to read Diana's work, start with Outlander, otherwise you would be lost, even reading her second set of novels because it's a spin off. Her next novel isn't slated to come out until 2010, and her fans are prepared to stage a siege on the publishers to get it out early...just kidding.

My biggest fear is just that I'm overanalyzing things to my favor and that there's actually nothing of substance there. But then again, I feel so lucky to even have met him and having him as a friend I can talk to from time to time. Went to his bar yesterday (too, I start feeling like a stalker soon), and ended up talking about so many things, including japanese poetry (He likes Yosano Akiko too! *g*) and his view on life (have to take everything out of the life while it still lasts - he might have copied that from me from all I know...). *sigh*

But I have to admit that him being a bartender and almost always in his bar makes it easier to "happen" to meet him... ;) But thank you for being there and listening. Hugs and have a nice weekend!

It's just too funny that you should mention that "meet for a reason" thing right now - I've been talking about him the whole last night, well, until 7am with a friend and she's convinced that he's meant for me and I should go for it... *g*
